surfing is a common sight here in the islands, often used to get most places when a student cannot afford the ferry pass. water pokemon of any size may surf, though how far... it certainly won't be worth the risk. the ocean currents are strong, and rather unpredictable. pokemon that have the hm dive or hm surf in their moveset are suggested to carry the weight of their trainers over longer distances. here is a list of pokemon you are suggested, though not limited to, using for water transport.

another (unpopular) form for transportation, however not seen as often as either surfing or motor vehicles, is flying. the guidelines for this are stricter than water types, only large enough pokemon with hm fly may be able to be flown on. there are several exception. if unsure, you may ask one of the staff for their opinion on the situation. after, it only makes sense. here is a list of pokemon you are suggested, though not limited to, using for air transport.

it’s an unfortunate reality that pokemon cannot speak, besides repetition of their species name and perhaps a few sounds—growls and whines and murmurs, whatever else mankind simply cannot understand. however, some pokemon (and entire type, can you imagine!) are able to communicate through thought. telepathy is not too uncommon for psychic types, a few chance others, as all may learn how to use it. we expect you to be reasonable about this ability, after all, a newly hatched ralts should not be able to speak eloquently. they are just beginning to comprehend their clairvoyant abilities~ fully evolved pokemon and any over level ten should be able to successfully speak through their trainer’s mind. there is, strangely enough, a loophole. any pokemon with the psychic in its moveset, and are at least level ten, may use telepathy. it makes sense, with the five point islands having an odd aura most old, jaded sailors tend to avoid. here is a list of pokemon you are suggested, though not limited to, that are able to have extra-sensory abilities.
