004. tms, hms, & movesets.

this may seem like a rather redundant thread, since anyone who's played pokemon knows how tms, hms, and level-up moves work. however, here on stars we do things a tiny bit differently than the games.

001. as lovely as it would be to have an unlimited amount of moves for our precious pokemon, we unfortunately don't allow that here. we do understand, though, that only four moves per pokemon is crazy annoying. as a pretty good compromise, pokemon are allowed to have six moves in total on under stars and streetlights. there are a few things to remember though, before you run off and teach your pokemon six tms.

· four of those six moves are reserved for level-up moves. no exceptions.
· the other two moves are for your tms or hms. no exceptions.
· you may not put a level-up move in a tm/hm slot. and vice verse.
· you may not replace a tm/hm with a level-up move. and vice verse.

002. speaking of tms and hms. most tms (as in, 99% of them) are what we call "normal tms". there's nothing special about them. in fact, you don't even have to call them "normal". they're just... tms. that 1% is what we call "special tms". they allow you to reach special, restricted locations on the site. see the next post for more info. there are a few ways that you can get normal tms.

· by purchasing them in the store. prices may vary.
· by trading with another member. be reasonable.
· or through promos, events, and perhaps randomly in your mod thread. who knows. B)

003. hms are a little trickier, simply because most hms enable you to reach special, restricted locations on the site. some of them don't do anything besides their main purpose, so we call them "normal hms". for the most part hms are seen as more valuable than tms. these are a few ways to get normal hms, and a few things you should remember:

· you can purchase them in the store. prices may vary, but they will always be more expensive than tms.
· at the moment, you may not trade hms. at all. special or normal; it doesn't matter.
· you may get them through promos, events, and perhaps randomly in your mod thread. who knows. B)
