RULES & REGULATIONS
001. word count while the creativity and thought put in to your posts is top priority, we do also have a three hundred word minimum post count which we feel is a reasonable amount. however, by all means post as much beautiful prose as your fingers allow.
002. realism your character shouldn't defy common sense, as i'm sure you're well aware. there is no such thing as a flawless, undefeatable individual. try to make your character a well rounded student with strengths and weaknesses. also, you don't have say over characters that aren't yours. don't attempt to control other students, please. concerning mod threads, the appearence of interactive wild pokemon and deciding the ultimate outcome of wild battles are duties restricted to mods only.
003. plagiarism don't steal. pretty common sense, but if you use a template from a resource site keep the credits intact and if you want to use anything someone else has posted here please ask permission first. we have no problem letting the appropriate people know if something has been taken without having asked first, or hey, we can even go tell proboards themselves.
004. objectionable content due to the proboards terms of service and the younger age of some of our members, stars & streetlights is strictly rated PG13. keep all mature content within these guidelines and if you feel your thread is leaning towards the inappropriate skip passed that particular scenario aka. FADE TO BLACK PLZ.
005. cbox the lovely little chat box is at your disposal to become fast friends with the rest of the site. however, plotting and advertising for other sites have their own respective areas and should be kept in such.
006. courtesy we're all here due to our love of pokemon and writing, so there should be no reason to quarell. we strive to have everyone feel welcome and keep stars & streetlights an enjoyable site. however, if a situation does arise where you disagree with another member or feel as though someone is being ill-mannered don't be afraid to bring it up to one of the staff. we're always happy to help.
007. security if you don't post an application, say hello in the cbox, or any similar way of letting us know you're alive, within a week (7 days) of joining we will be forced to delete your account(s). this is done to keep our members and content safe, so don't take it personally. you can always register again though!
